The Consular Chamber of Commerce is pleased to publish the following posting from the Honorable Mona Diamond, Hororary Consul General of Turkey to Georgia, USA.

Please let Consul Diamond know you read about her on!

The inaugural Women Entrepreneurship and Leadership Summit, where women from around the world will come together to advance women’s entrepreneurship and leadership will take place on June 4-5, 2009 at The Marmara Hotel in Istanbul, Turkey. It is organized by KAGIDER with the partnership of the American Turkish Friendship Council (ATFC) in the United States, and the sponsorship of Garanti Bank, one of the largest banks in Turkey.

Our objective is to provide a rare and exciting opportunity to bring together over 300 women leaders and entrepreneurs from Turkey, the United States, the European Union, and the Middle East North Africa regions to network and share valuable information. This international Summit will educate, engage and encourage women to take a more prominent role in the global business community. Representatives from various governments and prominent academic institutions will ensure that a sustainable environment for women leadership and entrepreneurship is proactively addressed. The Summit program will be second to none, and we hope that it will spawn future similar meetings and help initiate collaborations among many women leaders from different countries.

We are also very excited to announce that Ambassador Melanne Verveer, newly appointed by president Obama as the Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women’s Issues will be joining us as a guest speaker.
Don't miss this unique event to explore opportunities ... engage in building international relationships ... and enhance your ability to succeed in the global business community

  1. Dear Consul Diamond,
On behalf of the US speakers to ATFC's excellent conference in Istanbul, we would like to thank you for giving us this opportunity to connect our US business women with the Turkish business women.
You did a superb job as Consul in bringing all these factions together. We will see many positive outcomes in the future for this global networking event.
